Make Poverty History

This May over 1000 people aged 16-26 will take to the road to MAKE POVERTY HISTORY.

Nine journeys will depart from seven capital cities. These ambassadors for global change will travel across the country, journeying throughout over 100 different cities and towns.

At schools, businesses, churches, community organisations and sporting clubs they will spread one message: that poverty can be ended, if only we have the will. In newspapers, magazines, radio interviews and television stunts they will speak with one voice: our generation can be the one to end extreme poverty.

Road trips will depart from each capital city and spend five days raising awareness along their regional route, before converging on Canberra for a 2 day summit featuring high-profile speakers, politicians, activists, media stunts and live music.

We’re on a national search for young people passionate about making poverty history! If you or anyone you know fits this description then there’s not much time – secure a seat as a part of this history making movement before it’s too late.

If you are aged 16-26 and want to combat global poverty, get on board the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY Roadtrip.

Applications close March 20 so get in quick! Apply now at http://www.theroadtrip.com.au.
